Why was Muhammad Hafeez not allowed to hold a press conference on his return from Australia?

The Pakistan Cricket Board stopped team director Muhammad Hafeez from holding a press conference on his return from Australia.

Private TV Geonews has claimed from sources that the authorities wanted to save Hafeez and the Pakistan Cricket Board from conflict. Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer Muhammad is against Hafeez’s press conference, few board officials are also not in favor of Hafeez’s press conference, International Director Usman Wahla’s NOC policy is also different in the board.
